I wouldn't hold that against Amazon. They can't scan every product for
things like what company makes it and so on. To a certain extent, they
have to rely on the honesty of the seller when documenting the product
and on the feedback from buyers. In the long run that can balance
itself out, but in this case, I'm sure you can expect a lot of people
who are in the MLM cult to keep feeding it positive feedback to counter
anything negative.

Amazon itself has no way of knowing the company is an MLM or is
deceitful. Their only way of knowing something like that is if it is
documented and then, to cover themselves from discrimination lawsuits,
they have to make sure they have a firm case before forcing a seller to
discontinue a product.
