theory on a zero purchase price or zero to join.

The money to start up a business like this will have to come from
somewhere, so if you you have such good incentives like $0 to join and
no pressure or obligation to purchase merchandise so then the cost has
to come from another source: the business starters' pocket, that means
YOU if want this idea to become a reality.

I've become very familiar with MLM's since '80 and they all have the
same ol routine. Ive just had my plumber come to my house to fix a
leak and is also trying to 'start his own business' with Primerica.
And as usual he's trying to coax me into having a 'k.t.' at my house
(kitchen table intro)I told him I've tried primerica in '93 and it
wasn't for me but as some of these ppl in this web site will tell you
they're a stubborn breed. I haven't done this 'business' in 10yrs
since I've left Equinox. They got sued big time shortly after I've
left and I haven't looked back since.

I like the plumber but he's starting to drive me a bit nuts with this.

MLM's are so unusual and unconventional in nature and actually paying
a monthly fee, shelling out thousands in seminar fees and charging
high prices for unconventional items is just a few of the major
pitfalls and leaks in this system.

Maybe if these MLM's offered a 401k or some minor medical coverage for
ALL reps or something like that perhaps this would give more incentive
to join or at least give MLM's some credibility.

In theory, if the whole world became 'sale's reps' in company X how
will anyone get paid if we're all sellers and no consumers?

The bottom line is this: to start a MLM 'business' the last thing you
wanna be is desperately poor going in. If you're curious, fine but
make sure you don't leave your regular job till you feel you're
getting ahead in this financially. If MLM's tell you they're making
millions in sales every month then why must you pay for the
motivational lectures, or even material?

I'll hear from you soon.....
