Here's a suggestion:
"Honey, I have really been thinking about this Primerica business.
I understand that you want to have your own business and I uderstand
why you are so focused on money. But as we have discussed so many
times, I am not comfortable with this business controlling our lives
and it IS controlling our lives. I know I can't tell you what
career path to follow, but I just can't support this decision any
longer. So if Primerica is the career you want to persue, we are
going to have to go our separate ways."
Then you can go from there.
If he begs you to stick around and see that this Primerica will pay
off, stand firm.
If he promises to quit today, then you can discuss the counseling to
repair the damage that has been done.
But if you go the counseling route, be prepared to kick him out the
minute he does anything with Primerica...
him know that Primerica = "divorce".
Also know that there are only a handful of states that recognize
common-law marriage, so look into your state's laws to figure out if
you have any legal ties, since you say you refer to him as your
husband.

that I've made that decision, I'm just trying to find the best way
