I have two questions:
1. Since the money "Team" makes is a separate business and no
compensation plan that goes all the way to the end of a line of sponsorship,
could it still be considered an illegal pyramid then. It is only paying a
few top people. That could qualify just a plain old business with the
higher up pins (managers) earning a wage.
2. My friends are going to a team function next weekend somewhere in
south Florida, near Orlando I think, the subject is so raw for us that she
only gives me bare minimum information. Why would they be going to a
function? There is no product to sell, I thought they couldn't discuss
Quixtar at functions, what is the purpose of still having/going to one of
these functions???
Please someone answer these questions for me that understands what is going
on behind the scenes.I am so confused.

Yep - they are. Although there ARE some large groups that are running
from TEAM like rats from a sinking ship......
At the moment, TEAM (without a "product" to sell) is calling
themselves a "Leadership Development" group. Huh????
But I keep hearing rumors that TEAM is searching for a product to
push, since their teaching, organization, and lack of product pretty
much makes them a sitting duck to be called an illegal pyramid.
Where's the FTC when you want them? ;-)
I was hoping the confusion surrounding the breakup of TEAM and Amway
would cause many IBOs to simply quit? I'm sorry that hasn't been the
case for your relatives.
