Back during the buildup to "9-1-99" (the launch of Quickscar), I
recall our upline Diamond bragging about what a clever coup it was
for Amway to start Quixtar -- he described it as an effective way for
the DeVos and Van Andel families to transfer the wealth and assets of
the company to the next generation so the government wouldn't siphon
them off through inheritance taxes. Hmmmmmm....
Of course, we were pleased to be able to tell folks "It's NOT Amway" -
- but that was not what I recall as the focus of what we were told.
