[MLM Survivors Club] Re: Deb's story? (long reply)

A basic tenet of the Retailing Industry (one I know well) is it's
better to KEEP a customer than to constantly search for new ones. And
it was my experience that it's not that hard to keep a customer.

But when 2/3 of all new IBOs DO NOT RENEW the following year (Amway's
statistics) - you will be constantly seeking new people - and Amway's
Rules regarding advertising act as a hobble on your growth.

I was able to grow my hot tub store into the second-largest dealer in
the nation; yet I was barely able to recruit a dozen people into my
personal little group of IBOs.

Go figure....
