Mick, I'd advise your friend to take the paperwork to an attorney for
review. (I'd do it if attachments were allowed.) Contracts can be
worded in such a way that no one but an attorney would understand
exactly what is being agreed to. And keep in mind that the parties'
circumstances and other paperwork not included with the contract might
change the legal and practical effect of the contract.
