I, too stopped reading the post because it was a bit incoherent to me. I
realize we all have different styles of expressing the written word. And I'm
not sure I would have had the kahunas to say something. Hal obviously has
bigger kahunas than I do. ;0 But I understand his intent...to point out
something he thought broke so that it could be fixed.
My days as an Operations Manager taught me to look at the problems, point
them out and then fix them. So I can do so now in most areas of my life,
without judgement. Its why I always tell the restaurant manager what was
wrong with our visit, so that they can be aware of a problem and fix it should
they deem it necessary.
I personally did not assume that Hal was attacking anyone personally, just
making an observation about how to improve something.
My take on it.
