If your message isn't important enough for you to care enough about it
to put in a little bit of effort to make it readable, why should anyone
care to put in effort on their end to read it? If its your statement
and you don't care about it, why should we?

Actually, it's a mailing list with a long term archive and it's a help
forum to reach out to people that need help. It's not like a chat room
where we write a line and it's gone after it scrolls off the top.
Whether we like it or not, people judge us and online all they can judge
us on is our writing. How do you want people to perceive you?
