[MLM Survivors Club] Re: what I'm dealing with/quixtar, (momluvseliana has some questions)

Oh my goodness, this is an all to familiar email to me. It is all
MLM speak I guess. My cousin said the exact same thing to me, if you
go back and read it. She said something about keeping my "negative
opinions to myself" blah blah blah. This is really weird twisted
stuff. If only they could read what we write about them. Would
they even consider that they could be brainwashed? I mean why would
we even care if we weren't all truly affected by this stuff. (I am
not too close to that cousin in law of mine, so I told her to read
this forum)
Questions: So when do MLM people start to realize that this could
be a scheme? How do they snap out of it?
I like what Hal wrote about projection, it makes perfect sense to
me. But why are people like that? Are some people just closed
minded? If someone told me to simply question or research
the "business opportunity" I would be greatful. Instead people who
are already involved think you are judgemental and negative. That
is absolutely ignorant to me. (I know some of you were victims of
MLM's, please take no offense.) Anyway, sorry for the rambling, I
am just tripping out at the similarities between my cousin's letter
and gardeningkelly's daughter's letter.
I confronted my cousin in law because I didn't care if we never
talked again. But I think gardeningkelly should just wait it out
and not bring up scamway/quackstar with her daughter, she could
really ruin their relationship and lose her daughter forever. Then
she would not know if that bastard husband of her's was still
beating her or their child.
