I didn't include it in the snippets of Jeremy's response, but he had
offered to put me in contact with his upline, a man named Jack
Maitland, to provide me 1099 copies that showed in his four years as a
Melaleuca Rep that jack had made a profit.
I mention it now because I sent a series of questions to Jeremy about
the Melaleuca opportunity and his response largely focused on my
question about Jack and he in essence referred me to Jack to ask my
questions. As my interest is in saving Jeremy from himself and not
really getting involved with Melaleuca, I have responded back that I
will contact Jack regarding his 1099 and his business, but that maybe
Jeremy could research my questions as a form of training for himself.
Here are the questions I sent him:
Can I become a distributor without purchasing a single product?
Can I as a distributor make a good income for the time spent selling
the products, without recruiting a single person?
Would I be the only distributor authorized to sell the product in my area?
What is the hierarchal layout of the corporation, i.e., what would my
chain of command be?
How far up from me and how far down from me do commissions carry,
i.e., how many people above me get paid based on my sales and how many
levels down would I get commissions based on other people's sales?
Am I authorized to set up sales through a local retailer and set my
own price?
Do you have direct contact information for Jack Maitland so I could
discuss his success and how he got there?
I'll keep you all posted.
