Don't confront them.
And that sound you hear is a gasp from 90% of the members of this list
as their jaw drops in amazement at *me* saying not to be
confrontational.
Do not confront them.
This is a very important thing to remember: These people are sick. A
truly rational person can be swayed by logical arguments. If you're
strongly for one political candidate, but I can present to you proof
that he's lied his way through the elections and does not keep any
promises, you may well listen to me and rethink your position. That's
because you're rational. An irrational person would hear all those
arguments and say I just hate the person and can't deal with the truth.
That's called projection. An irrational person will blame you and say
you are doing what they, in truth are doing. These people do not
listen to logic, literally cannot process logic, and have accepted what
they have been told by their savior, His Ultimate Holiness, Dexter,
what to believe.
They are the faithful of the First Church of Yager. This is a group
that didn't question Birdie Yager when she said God had personally told
her that there was new material for the Acts of the Apostles and
dictated it to her. (Does anyone have the link to that audio or
video?) They believe they are the Chosen Ones (and I'm not
exaggerating here) and that they are saved through Scamway. Not
through Jesus. Through Dex and Birdie and Quackstar and Scamway.
It is a sick, twisted cult.
And what makes it even sicker is that they take normal people, start
with a light touch, then change their thinking bit by bit, until they
have twisted a good person to their thinking and to their control.
These people are evil.
Yes, that word is overused. The Whitehouse uses it to describe anyone
they don't like. Churches use it to describe rock and roll. I don't
use that word. I don't even use it to describe Osama bin Laden and Al
Queida. I do use it to describe the Amway Motivational Organizations
run by those like Bill Britt and Dexter Yager. I hate the word and
think it has no meaning any longer from over use so I save it for the
extreme and with that in mind, I'll say it again:
These people are evil.
You can't reason with Satan. It's like spitting in the wind or tugging
on Superman's cape. It just won't work and you won't like the results.
No matter what you say to the upline, they are right. They cannot
afford to believe otherwise. To do so would be to doubt the Blessed
One (Dexter) and to not be a True Disciple. If you are right on even
one point, then that would mean their church leaders are wrong about
something. It might be small, but it means these infallible people
they worship could be wrong. To face that possibility would be to
doubt the Word of God, as handed down directly to Dexter and Birdie
Yager, the two people they follow and believe even more than they do
Jesus or the Bible.
In some ways I'm being facetious, but I mean it all. They lay claim to
being Christian, but even poison ivy can claim to be a rose. They have
learned to worship and blindly follow the Church of Yager. They don't
have the courage or strength to think, reason, or listen to anyone who
gives them any indication that anything else is true and they cannot
afford to look at all fallible.
If you try to reason with them, you will tip your hand, they will know
what you're doing, and your son-in-law will take even more severe steps
and he'll blame your daughter and take it out on her and her kid.
Okay, I guess I've made it clear what I think.
I'll step off the soapbox for now.
