[MLM Survivors Club] Run-In with a Quixtar recruiter....yuk

I had a run in with a Quxtar recruiter the other night in a myspace chatroom. He posted
his web page, which was Quixtar with a different name; Invision Enterprises. He had spent
the whole night telling people how bad/illegal/inferior their business opportunities were.
Then after the others left, he started his recruiting on me. I looked at his web page, and I
can honestly say that if it wasnt for this Yahoo group, I wouldnt have recognized the
product names on his page. Seeing them rang a bell, and a little search proved that it was,
in fact, Quixtar.

I confronted this guy, who up untill this point was friendly, albeit extremely vague. (Me: "Is
this MLM?" Him: "Just listen to the conference call, it will explain everything.") I told him I
didnt want to be involved with anything to do with Quixtar, and his personality did a
complete 180. It was remarkable. Suddenly, he was trying to make me sound unintelligent
for not trusting the credibility of Quixtar, citing that none of the negative sources were
credible, that I hadnt researched thoroughly, and that all negative testimonials were just
the rantings of "disgruntled employees." He tried a last time to recruit/brainwash me ("I
can explain all of your concerns."), to which I replied "dont bother." After that, we mutually
thanked each other for not wasting each other's time.

Just another example of how unprofessional Quixtar recruiters are and how deceptive they
try to be. I had heard horror stories, but I guess it's one of those things that you have to
experience to believe.

Thanks to the group for alerting me to the warning signs of this scam.
